How we handle personal information for our website, support services, and client portal.

Overview

Clark Tech Solutions ("CTS," "we," "us") provides IT support and related services. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit our website, submit a request, use the client or technician portal, or pay an invoice.

Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact details you provide (name, email, phone, company, message content) through forms or support tickets.
  • Account data for portal users (email, profile name, role, authentication logs managed by our auth provider).
  • Service and billing records (tickets, appointments, invoices, payment status — not full card numbers).
  • Technical data necessary to operate the site (cookies for session login, server logs, optional privacy-friendly analytics if enabled).

How we use information

  • Respond to support requests and provide contracted services.
  • Operate the client and technician portals, including messaging and scheduling.
  • Process payments and maintain billing records.
  • Improve our services, security, and website reliability.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse.

Service providers

We use trusted processors to run the business. They access data only to perform services for us and must protect it appropriately. Current categories include:

  • Hosting and database (e.g. Supabase for authentication and application data).
  • Payment processors (Stripe and/or Square for online and in-person payments).
  • Calendar integration (Google, Microsoft, or Apple iCloud when a technician connects calendars — only busy time ranges are stored, not personal event titles).
  • Optional analytics (Plausible, if NEXT_PUBLIC_PLAUSIBLE_DOMAIN is configured — no cross-site tracking cookies by default).
  • Email delivery (Resend or similar, when configured for lead confirmations).

Retention and security

We retain support and billing records as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. Portal credentials and device access notes stored for work orders are encrypted when WORK_ORDER_CREDENTIALS_KEY is configured.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We use industry-standard practices including HTTPS, access controls, and role-based permissions in the portal.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to legal and contractual limits. Contact cts@peyton-clark.com. California and other state privacy rights may apply to eligible residents.

You can sign out of the portal at any time. Marketing analytics can be limited by browser settings; the portal requires session cookies to function.
